What is BDIX?

Understanding Bangladesh's Internet Exchange

The Peering Fabric

BDIX (Bangladesh Internet Exchange) is a neutral peering point where local ISPs interconnect directly, bypassing international gateways. This creates a high-speed, low-latency local network fabric for domestic traffic exchange.

When content is hosted on BDIX-peered infrastructure, users can access it at significantly higher speeds (often 100+ Mbps) compared to international bandwidth, which is typically throttled or metered.

Reachability & Routing

Not all ISPs peer with all BDIX endpoints. Reachability depends on your ISP's specific peering agreements. This tool helps you verify which endpoints are accessible from your current network.

Note: BDIX is a technical infrastructure. This index is provided for network diagnostic purposes only.
